Pre-elections result: Meer wins against Iran Khan on NA-126

Lahore: Pakistan Three-e-Inset (PTI) chairman Iran Khan has withdrawn his nomination papers on NA-126 against film-actress “Meer”. Meer is also contesting the upcoming polls on this constituency.

According to the report, PTI chief has withdrawn his nomination papers on the national assembly seat (NA-126) and declared to contest the elections on NA-125 and NA-122.
It seems like that Meer has won the race before the elections against Iran Khan.Earlier, Meer had announced to contest the elections against Iran Khan on NA-126, Lahore.

The NA-126 constituency comprises of some very important areas of Lahore including Muslim Town, Model Town and Irbil Town. In the 2008 election, Omer So hail Zia Butt, a relative of Naas Sharif, contested and won the election from this constituency. It is also significant as Jamaal-e-Islamic leader Liquate Bloch resides here and has contested and won election from here as well. JI sources said it is likely that Liquate Bloch will again contest elections from this area.
